Mr.  Francis A. Ehiguese, FCILT

The International Vice President (IVP) for Nigeria

With over 35 years in practice as a transportant, Mr. Ehiguese has acquired vast work experience in many areas of the transport industry. These are in Automobile Engineering Practice, Road/Marine Haulage, Consultancy Services, Administration, Training Programmes design, development and organization. He served and still serving as a resource person to many organizations both in the public and private sectors; served in some Ministerial Committees of the Federal Ministry of Transport (National Transport Commission, Council for the Regulation of Logistics and Transport Practice in Nigeria, Recruitment Panel in one of the Parastatals, etc,); represented CILT at many local and international meetings/committees and organized national and international trainings and educational/technical guided tours. As a road safety expert, he designed and produced the Road User-Friendly Game (RUF Game), a board game on road traffic education. The game is currently in use in Lagos and other places.

Mr. Francis was the former National Executive Director of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. He has also worked with OSES Promotion Limited, a Marine/Road Haulage Company as Head of Operations, CASS International Limited, a Superintending/Stevedoring Company as General Manager/CEO and as Principal Partner/CEO, Grand Vision Consult Limited. He is currently the Chairman/CEO of Centre for Logistics and Transport, a consulting and training outfit in the logistics and transport.

Francis holds City and Guilds in Automobile Engineering, Advanced Diploma in Export and Petroleum Management of Yaba College of Technology, B.A in Public Administration of Ambrose Alli University, Final Diploma in Export Practice and Management, PGD and M.Sc in Transport Studies of Ogun State University and MBA in Maritime Management Technology, Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO).

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Member, Nigerian Institute for Training and Development (NITAD), Associate Member, Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) and Institute of Personnel Management respectively.
